Petrography and Geochemical Signatures of Pegmatites from the Southeastern Part Comoé Basin (South-East Côte d'Ivoire, North Alépé)

The pegmatitic rocks located in the south-east of Côte d'Ivoire between Comoé basin and Sefwi belt are subject this study. geology region consists gneisses, granites, microgranites, amphibolites, mylonites metasediments. All these generally crosscut by quartz pegmatite lodes. petrographic studies allow us to discriminate four groups pegmatites on basis mineralogy: (i) beryl-muscovite bearing (Aboisso-Comoé), (ii) albite-tourmaline (iii) micas-tourmaline (Alosso) (iv) muscovite-garnet (Songan forest). XRD analyzes 4 samples revealed presence lepidolite (lithium ore) forest) phengite (Aboisso-Comoé). diffractograms Aboisso-Comoé (beryl-muscovite pegmatite) Songan forest (muscovite-garnet show almost same signatures would suggest that those come from source. Geochemical portable XRF carried out muscovite feldspar minerals indicate have characteristics Lithium-Cesium-Tantale type (LCT) pegmatites. geochemical diagrams indicated probable beryl spodumene mineralization pegmatite.
